Educate the locals on family planning and its importance

Educate the locals on family planning and its importance

Educate the locals on family planning and its importance

Educate the locals on family planning and its importance

Unexpected and unplanned pregnancies is really affecting the youth. Pregnancy is a period that should be enjoyed along with all its ups and downs. To be able to enjoy this period you need to be prepared physically, emotionally andpsychologically. During pregnancy a lot happens to a woman’s body and she will need a strong loving partner to support her through it. We have seen young ladies who had to go through it alone just because the men who got them pregnant abandoned them. We have seen women struggle to pick themselves back up after being so torn up, having a baby is not easy and its even harder when its not planned. Lets help the youth prepare for a greater course , as we guide them through showing them that they can actually prevent these unnecessary abortions, that they can actually create families that aren’t separated. We are determined to spread the knowledge, As we take this upon ourselves to save lives in the cause of action. We intend to reach out to the youths in cities, towns, villages and slums one at a time leaving no stone unturned by engaging in public forums, debates and creating platforms where talking about sexual and reproductive health is not a taboo making it easy for youths to come forward and express themselves on their experience without the fear of being judged. We also intend to shade light on the faults in the health system using our platform whilst spreading awareness on the importance of family planning which saves the lives of women, newborns, children and teenage girls. It also reduces the burden on natural resources and the environment in general. As we work towards bringing this to life , LEAVE A MARK IN AFRICA welcomes you to join hands in this life changing program  which also intends to give counseling to the youth that have already been affected by poor decisions and poor family planning. You don’t need any previous experience

Become a part of a child’s story.

Become a part of a child’s story

Start children off on the way they should go, And even when they are old they will not turn from it.” It is in the youngest stages that a person’s character is created. We intend to nurture and train strong African leadersfor the future to come. In this project you will visit different schools , and teach children about;

– The importance of teamwork,

– Work on their confidence and communication skills,

– Allow them to dream big,

– Teach them about decision making and in the process allow them to make their own decisions,

– Failure and letting them know that failure is actually a very good teacher and its not something to be scared of.

join us and become part of these children’s story. Its just a lot of potential that will go unexplored if you and me don’t come together to show these children the right direction. Let us help create and be a part of someone’s success story because if not us then who will?

Women education and empowerment

Women education and empowerment

Women education and empowerment

Women education and empowerment

if standing up for women’s rights in Africa speaks to your inner feminist then our women’s empowerment project in Tanzania is for you, Leave a mark in Africa’s project is an amazing opportunity for volunteers to make an impactful difference to the lives of women  who face the challenges of gender inequality. For most sub Saharan countries poverty has created a vicious cycle that leaves many groups of people feeling vulnerable undervalued and under heard most notably women as they are marginalized and typically don’t live a life in which they can speak up and make the most of what they are capable of .you will help target a specific group so they can secure a future for themselves, you will also raise awareness and promote women’s rights in local communities , Empower  women to become independent financially as they are subject to male dominance and brutality, help to elevate local Tanzanian women who come from challenging backgrounds giving them a chance to upskill and work towards earning a sustainable income LEAVE A MARK IN AFRICA gives women that are wounded in any way a platform to speak out, be heard and get assistance
